〜Gelato to savor the seed〜
Introducing a gelato to savor the seed, from SHUKA, a confectionery brand that treats ancient seeds as something new.
This is a new genre of plant-based gelato made with a unique formula that uses "seeds" instead of animal-based ingredients like milk.
We use the seed syrup made while candying seeds, an age-old way of preserving food, and top each cup with its seed, for texture too.
We created this with the hope that everyone can share in the happy experience of eating gelato together.

1. Toroku Beans & Vanilla
Made with white runner beans from Hokkaido, sometimes called "beauty beans." A staple flavor that adds the mellow aroma of vanilla to the gentle taste and naturally fluffy texture of the beans.
2. Mizuho Dainagon Azuki
Made using "Mizuho Dainagon Azuki" beans, cultivated only in the former Mizuho district of Kyotamba town. By simmering them without discarding the cooking liquid, we captured the rich flavor of the azuki beans within a smooth texture. A flavor that lets you feel Kyoto through a familiar taste.
3. Tanba Black Soy Bean
Uses black beans, a specialty of Tanba. We grind black beans cooked for rich flavor into a thick soy milk base, creating a rustic flavor where you can fully enjoy the natural umami and richness of the soybeans.
4. Cashew Nuts
Uses Indonesian cashew nuts. Roasting brings out their natural sweetness, resulting in a creamy treat with a pleasant, nutty aroma. Unrefined raw sugar adds a natural sweetness.
5. Super Green Pistachio
Uses only rare "super green" pistachios from Iran, a major production region. Features a refreshing note within a rich flavor. As the name suggests, its vibrant green color is eye-catching.
6. Cacao Asiatico
Uses only Indonesian cacao beans from the Kyoto craft chocolate maker "Dari K." While retaining a pleasant acidity, organic coconut sugar adds a fruity, deep flavor.
